Gyros and Fries: Oh my!

Hi everyone. I will keep this post short, as I know all of you are studying hard for your exams. Or are hard at work stalking on Facebook. Either way, I won't keep you long.

Tonight was the last dinner of the semester in Morrow Dining Hall. I know, I know, it's heartbreaking. However, all of us still on campus can attend brunch this Sunday (served on Wilson side but still can be enjoyed in Morrow), and we will all be excited to see the nomz in store for us next semester.

Let's focus on the present. Tonight at Morrow we had the choice of pasta soup, herb-i-fied tofu, GYROS, onion rings, french fries, corn, brownies, and rainbow sherbet. Oh and Greek salad and fruit. NOMZ.

I am a big, big fan of Greek food. So much so I want to go to Greece for my junior year abroad. Therefore, I was excited about the selection tonight, and I hope all who attended were, too.

Differing from the traditional slightly, the Gyros tonight used sliced beef, and not the normal lamb or pork typically used. As well, we did not have tzatziki (what I'm going to name my non-existant child) sauce, but substituted it with a cooler yogurt, dill, and cucumber based sauce. Twas excellent.

I nommed on too many fries (as usual) and lots of fruit. I put some of the tofu in my Greek salad for a little protein infusion, and it added nicely.

I did not, unfortunately, try any rainbow sherbet. There was an incident when I was quite little involving rainbow sherbet which I do not wish to repeat. Mainly, mad upset tummiez after eating too much of it. Jenn White surprised us all with her addition of soda to her rainbow sherbet. Always the inventor, Jenn. And hey, we all need a little rainbow sherbet at Smith College...am I right, am I right?

Shit that picture's really gay.

The brownies were delicious, as always. The dining hall was less crowded than normal, but that's okay. It's finals, we don't expect people to be acting sane.

Jen Krain graced us yet again with her beautiful presence. She and Samara chose not to eat with Morrowites, but with Park peeps. Will this change be permanent? Probz not; we'll get them back.

Alright, that's all for tonight. I hope everyone has a great exam period (is that really possible?) and a safe trip home (if you're not home already, lucky bitches).

Morrow Love!
